Here is an update from Caleb on everything that’s been going on with Anthem Lights:

What an amazing year 2011 was. The opportunities that the Lord presented to us these past 12 months have almost felt too wonderful to be real, at times. The most recent one was “The Story Tour,” which was a presentation of the Bible set to music and film. We were blessed to share this experience with many of our musical heroes, including Steven Curtis Chapman, Natalie Grant, Newsboys, and many others.

We’re excited to kick off 2012 as a part of Newsboys’ “God’s Not Dead” tour, which is a 60-city coast-to-coast tour that will span from now until May. As well as Newsboys, we’ll be sharing the stage with two other great bands, The City Harmonic and Abandon.

As we toured in 2011, we discovered that not only did God use our full-band live show to connect with audiences, but He also used our scaled-down acoustic sets to engage and encourage listeners. This inspired us to go back into the studio and record our 5-song digital EP called “The Acoustic Sessions,” which includes 3 re-vamped tunes from our self-titled album, as well as a couple of cover songs.

We can't express enough gratitude to our Heavenly father, the team that surrounds us, and the fans, for this past year. We couldn’t possibly do any of this alone. We truly believe that the best is yet to come, and we hope to see you at a show really soon.
